Teri (Tish) Heart

I just wanted to take this opportunity to once again thank all of you who have been bringing meals, fruit and sweets. I want you to know how much it truly means to our entire family. We are able to spend precious hours with Dad instead of in the kitchen.

Even though these are difficult times, knowing that all of you are praying for our entire family really helps me get thru the day....God is always with us, giving us strength to see the next day. Please leave a comment or word of encouragement, I personally love to end my day by reading all the kind words. Dad's days are limited....I realize that...but the love each and everyone of you are showing helps me to not only endure today, but to look toward the future when Dad is no longer in pain and I look forward to seeing him walking around and taking care of all the flowers on this earth. I thought he was a great produce manager...but I think he missed his calling.

God Bless each and every one of you...you are what Christians are called to be....God's hand extended and from the bottom of my heart....I THANK YOU!!

  1. Teri, it has been our pleasure to love and support your family. We all feel blessed and are better people for having had your father be part of our lives. I know you already know how wonderful he is, but thank you for sharing him with us....All our love...Jenny

  2. Teri, I remember when you & my daughters (Lynette & Shelley Miller) did things together as teens. I always appreciated your family so as a good influence & example of what a Christian family should be. When we went to Great Scott I could always remind the boys that they better behave because" Bro. Baty works here!" I hope you know that you are dearly loved as your entire family is. You are always in my prayers. Ps 27:14 tells us to" hope in Jehovah & be courageous & let your heart be strong." I have cofidence in you. Love, Phyllis Delisi

  3. I'am sure I speak for alot of friends who have known the Baty's for a long time. 'Thank You' from the bottom of our hearts. For being such pillars in the congregation. As a married couple you have set the example as to how we are to carry ourselves in the congregation, our homes, and daily life. Thank you for your wonderfull example. As a sister in the congregation, Barb has always made ones feel comfortable and at ease. As a youth growing up in the congregation,I always remember Don as pillar and strength in the congregation. And I'am pretty sure that I gave Don some of his grey hair. For this I trully say "Thank You" for your care and concern as a youth growing up in the congregation. I look at your example of serving as an Elder as one that I will strive to imitate. Just as you prayed for me as a youth, be assured that my prayers, my family's prayers, and all of your friends are praying for you in this difficult time. With much love and concern,

    Aric Haamen & Family

  4. I couldn't agree more Aunt Teri.....We are so blessed to have such wonderful people around us during this tough time (It's like a nightmare)
sometimes I think that this is all a BAD dream and one day I'm gonna wake up to papa being in perfect health. I love Papa and Grandma so much and my family. It was so nice to visit with my extended family yesterday many of which I haven't seen in about 6 yrs. I love you all and continue to pray that we are able to make it through this.

    Love,
    Larissa/Papa's Sweetheart

  6. Dear Barb and Don and family,

I know you must be going through a difficult time right now with Don being so sick.

I go a long way back with you over 40 years or more. I remember your young family attending St. Peter's Church in Mt. Clemens. I would see Barb in her picture hat next to her hubby (in those days women wore a hat in church) and all the children by their sides. Your family left an lasting impression on me as a child/teenager

I was so excited when I learned about Jehovah and started to attend meetings at the Kingdom Hall and your family started attending were there also. We learned Bible truths together over the years attending the at same Kingdom Hall.

What is wonderful is the promise in one of my favorite scriptures at Revelation 21:3,4 "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say:"Look the tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

We have a wonderful hope held out to us to sustain us at this difficult time.

Brother Baty has been a hard working Elder in the congregation. He would encourage us to go out in field service in the morning to tell others the Kingdom message.I remember his famous warning about the mattress sometimes "having arms" to keep pulling us in bed and that we needed to go out and tell others about the Kingdom message
despite the comfort of our mattress.(smiles)

    Jehovah remembers his faithful servants.

I am glad our paths crossed over in life from my youth to the present. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time.

My love to all of you.

    Sincerely.

    Carol Lardie
